Fishing

The Muskegon River holds a variety of fish that anglers can pursue while staying with Duggan's Canoe Livery and Campground. Commonly caught species include Pike, Walleye, Suckers, Bluegills/Sunfish, Large and Small Mouth Bass and Perch. If Trout is more of what your after, the Clam and Middle Branch rivers are located within a few miles of Duggans and offer public access. Both rivers hold good numbers of Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout. The two rivers offer places to cast spinners or use live bait. Parts of the rivers even offer spots clear and wide enough for fly fishing.
